Obituary for Betty Mae Frazier

Betty Mae Frazier, 95, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 in Westminster Healthcare. She was born March 5, 1924 in Terre Haute to Alvurtus Bogard and Ollie May Winters Bogard.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Bowman; grandchildren, Cathy Denny, John Rice (Jessica), and April Cain (Andy); great grandchildren, Sydney Denny, Chloe Denny, Maggie Rice, Kristen Rice, Drew Cain, and Tyler Cain; Nieces, Ruth Kennedy, Betty Snider, Lois Peigh (Darrell), and JoAnn Kerht (Bob); and great niece, Connie Sue Mista. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. Frazier; her parents; daughter, Connie Frazier Rice; six sisters; and a brother.

Betty was a member of First Congregational Church and the Country Club of Terre Haute. She worked at IMC, Walker Electric, and Walt Frazier Distributors.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend James Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
