Rita Kay Goodman, 61, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026 in her residence. She was born in Terre Haute on August 11, 1965 to Everett and Sarah Wall Goodman.

Rita is survived by a son, Trever Dewey and fiancé Diana Dwyer; a daughter, Mranda Smith, both from Terre Haute; two brothers, Tony Goodman (Sherri Sullivan) of Pimento, and Herry Goodman of Tere Haute; Two sisters, Terry Spaw (Joseph) and Edna Bowen, both from Terre Haute, and two grandchildren, Lili and Cade Dewey. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Jack, Jimmy and Albert Goodman.

Rita was a homemaker for her children. She loved to play Legos, draw with water colors with her grandchildren and painting and reading
