Bartlette Anne Kennedy

Bartlette “Bobbi” Kennedy of Terre Haute, Indiana (originally of Cayuga, Indiana) passed peacefully on September 29, 2026, in her home, two days after her 88th birthday. She spent her last few days surrounded by family. Bobbi’s proudest achievement was the family she built. She had four children: Kevin (Chong) Kennedy, who preceded her in death, Richelle (John) Simpson, John (Lori) Kennedy, and Catherine (Mark) Sinn. Bobbi had eight grandchildren: Gerri Kennedy, who preceded her in death, Michelle (Richard) Hawn, Shannon Kennedy, David Kennedy, Perrin (Michael) Caristi, Jamie Pilon, Ryan Kennedy, and Jory Green. She had nine great-grandchildren: Tanner Hawn, Allie Hawn, Alexis Hawn, Karter Kennedy, Elizabeth Kennedy, Klair Kennedy, TJ Caristi, Corey Caristi, and Solace Spragg-Green. Bobbi also had one great-great-granddaughter: Ivy Hawn. Bobbi’s greatest joy was found in taking care of others whether that was through giving advice and a loving word, helping with childcare, or sharing a meal (her chicken and noodles were a particular favorite of many). The family will gather at a later date to share good food and good memories.
