Gregory "Greg" K. Fightmaster

Gregory “Greg” Kent Fightmaster, 72, of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. He was born on March 27, 1954, in Cynthiana, KY, to Wilbert Fightmaster and Sue Lowe Eads.

Greg is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tina Fightmaster of Terre Haute; children: Cari Fightmaster, Kent Fightmaster, Amanda Fightmaster, all of Florida, and Gregory W. Fightmaster of Terre Haute; stepchildren: Julie Plascak, Kara Plascak, Michael Plascak, all of Terre Haute, and Marty Plascak of Columbus; grandchildren: Zachary Lauer, Jacob Kisner, Logan DeVanis, Amiyah Fightmaster, Amari Fightmaster, A.J. Fightmaster, Lincoln Fightmaster, Jaxson Fightmaster, Cameron Fightmaster, Lila Plascak, and Marshall Plascak; and great-grandchildren: Nathan Lauer and Elsie Lauer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Fightmaster.

Greg worked in retail construction for many years for Greg Construction based in Warren, MI. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Kentucky Wildcats and Tampa Bay Buccaneers play. He also liked Nascar and cheered on Chase Elliott. Greg was a woodworker who showcased his talents building lamps, tables, decks and more. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family. He will be truly missed.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home A funeral ceremony will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Greg will be cremated according to his wishes.
