William M. Lund

William M. Lund, 81, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025 in Majestic Care of Deming Park. He was born May 11, 1944 in Martinsville, IN to Charles B. Lund and Naomi Jean Wingler Lund.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Weddle Lund; children, Karen Cummings (Gerald), Sandra Pitman (Kedric), Deanna Rayhel (Wayne), and Robert Lund (Denise); step-children, Chad Hendrix (Tamara), Randy Wallace, and Rich Wallace; sisters, Sharon Abraham and Paula Lund; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-daughter, Trisha Hendrix Lund; and brother, Chuck Lund; and two grandchildren, James Hatley and Kristina Souders.

Bill was vice president and one of the founders of Tri-Remanufacturing / GE Aviation. He was a member of Vision Baptist Church and loved basketball, softball, fishing, golf, and woodworking.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 21, 2025 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Dustin Spitler officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Vision Baptist Church.
