Wade Bush Anshutz, IV, 33, of Terre Haute passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 25, 2021, in his residence.
Wade is survived by his mother, Sandy Anshutz; sister, Vanessa Anshutz Branstetter and her husband Tyler; nephew Caleb Hunsucker, niece, Blakely Grace Branstetter, and nephew Madden Charles Branstetter, and Papa Larry Branstetter. His uncles Bob and Michael Irwin of West Palm Beach, FL, Uncle Al and his wife Marge of Grand Forks, ND, and Aunt Peggy Lamberson of Indianapolis, IN. He has an Uncle David and his wife Pam in Sarasota, FL; cousins, Lauren Anshutz of Austin, TX and Eric Anshutz, of Ashville, NC, Emmora, Stacey, Marie, Matt, and Cody; and special brothers Carl Wiegand and Robert Murley and his beloved dog Isabella. He was preceded in death by his father, Wade B. Anshutz III.
Wade attended Maryland Community Church and was employed at Gartland Foundry.
Wade had a kind and loving soul and found great renewal in life in his passions for bow hunting, fishing, kayaking, shooting his prized muzzle loader, and the pursuit of the elusive morels in springtime.
With his passing, his family’s wish is that he is a man to be celebrated for his accomplishments in life. He will be missed more than he will ever know.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021, at Maryland Community Church, 4700 S. State Road 46, Terre Haute, 47802. Visitation is from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. memorial service with Pastor Scot Longyear officiating.
For those who choose, contributions can be made to the Next Step Foundation, a ministry of Maryland Community Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25 th Street.
