Scott G. Spurlock Sr.

Scott G. Spurlock, Sr., 49, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday morning, September 26, 2018. He was born October 12, 1968 in Concord, NH to Earl G. Spurlock and Marjorie Smith Spurlock.

Survivors include his partner in life, Jodi Hauer of Terre Haute; three children, Scott (Brittany) Spurlock, Jr. of Hope Valley, RI, Elizabeth Anne "Beth" Spurlock (Marcus Robinson) of Pawtucket, RI and Madeline Roxie-Rose Spurlock of Terre Haute; and two grandchildren, Marcus Jr. and Keilan. Also surviving are his father, Earl Spurlock of New Hampshire; sister, Susan "Susie" Neuwirt (George) of New Hampshire; several aunts and uncles including, Robert "Dean" Smith (Roxana), Gordon Smith and Nancy Smith; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother; and uncles, Paul, Richard and Donald Smith.

Scott spent most of his childhood in Warner, NH and was a graduate and Valedictorian of his class at Kearsarge Regional High School in Sutton, NH. He loved history, gardening and photography and was currently working on the history of Warner, NH and also Terre Haute, IN. He was an avid New England Patriot's fan and enjoyed collecting dairy memorabilia. He dearly loved his family.

There are no services. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Scott G. Spurlock, Sr. Memorial Fund, c/o First Financial Bank, P.O. Box 2122, Terre Haute, IN 47802 to be used to help defray funeral expenses and to help with education expenses for his daughter, Roxie.
