Sally A. Whitlock, 94, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026 in Harrison’s Crossing. She was born March 12, 1932 in Terre Haute to George William Pollitt and Grace Mildred Kemp Pollitt.
Survivors include her daughters, Diane Glover (Stephen), Nancy Whitlock (Charles Beeler), and Leslie Swearingen (Kenneth); grandson, Michael Glover; step-grandchildren, Zach Beeler (Tiffany), Jennifer Martinez (Omar), and Joseph Swearingen; five step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Susan Craig. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Whitlock; her parents; and brothers, James Pollitt, Richard Pollitt, and William Pollitt.
Sally was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and the IBEW. She was a bookkeeper for the Vigo County School Corporation and graduated from Honey Creek and attended Indiana State University. Sally was a lifelong crafter and needleworker. She has left a legacy with her handmade quilts which were given as gifts.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 20, 2026 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend Bob Raschka officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Monday. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
