Roger Allen Greasor passed away unexpectedly on November 3, 2026. A devoted husband, loving father, cherished “Poppy,” and father figure to many, Roger will be remembered for his Catholic faith, selfless spirit, and unwavering love for his family.
Roger adored his wife of 42 years, Pamela A. Greasor. He was a proud father to Joshua Greasor (fiancée Kayla Sumner) and Samantha Anderson (husband Jack Anderson), and a treasured Poppy to Paul, Charlotte, Ivy, Olive, and Juniper. His grandchildren brought him immeasurable joy.
Always willing to lend a hand, Roger could fix nearly anything. He generously shared his time and talents, especially with his children and grandchildren, and was someone family and friends could always count on.
A graduate of Tri-State University (now Trine University), Roger spent many years as an engineer with INDOT and most recently HWC Engineering. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame fan.
He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and siblings Charles (Anita) Greasor, Patricia (John) Vanflaren, Pamela (John) Spurrier, Richard (Barbara) Vrabic, Nancy (Jim) Vrabic, Robert (Lisa) Vrabic, and Jon (Kelly) Gaston, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Jeanette Greasor; in-laws Donald and Mary Vrabic; brother James Vrabic; and sister Donetta Gaston.
Roger’s love, kindness, and devotion to family will never be forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.
