She was most certainly a devout Catholic. For most of her life she belonged to Catholic Charities, and was elected as President by nomination rather than desire to be the leader. She dedicated much of her time to volunteering at the Catholic Charities Food Pantry and the Christmas Store. She and her granddaughter Katy belonged to the Sigma Kappa Sorority.
Patty never met a stranger and was always eager to visit with anyone. She truly loved everyone and somehow every friend she mentioned was her best friend. Some of her favorite expressions were - “Thank You, Thank You, Thank You”, “Lucky, Lucky, Lucky” and “Whoopie-Doo”. She was always thankful to everyone and always felt so lucky.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 P.M. on Friday April 17, at St. Joseph University Parish. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, donations can be made to Catholic Charities.
