Patricia Gail Collins

Patricia Gail Collins, 88, of Terre Haute passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 in her residence. She was born August 4, 1937 in Waterloo, Iowa to Benjamin Roberts and Helen G. Cameron Roberts.

Survivors include her children, Mark Collins (Cheryl) of Westfield, IN, Leslie Helman (Ed Hackett) of Terre Haute, and Matthew Collins (Pearl Mattox) of Parker, CO; five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Glenn Collins and her parents.

Patricia graduated from Union Hospital School of Nursing and was an RN there until she retired. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, and former sorority Psi Iota Xi. Patricia enjoyed the outdoors, camping and was a member of the fly-fishing club.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Leslie’s Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society, 1811 S. Fruitridge, Terre Haute, IN 47803 or the Elephant Sanctuary, P.O. Box 393, Hohenwald, TN 38462.
