Nancy D. Rupp

Nancy Diane Rupp, 71, of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Signature Healthcare. She was born on September 24, 1954, in Terre Haute, to Vincent and Margaret (Corbin) Hungerford.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Lynn Rupp of Terre Haute; brother, Jim Hungerford of Terre Haute; friend and caregiver, Loretta Shelton of Terre Haute; and a daughter, Deborah Voll. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Nancy worked for many years as a cake decorator for Kroger and Walmart. She was a cook at Meadows Manor North. She loved to cross-stitch, work in her yard, and plant flowers. She doted on her kitties. Nancy loved to cook eggplant and could always be found with a cup of tea. She was a collector of cat and bird figurines, especially pink flamingoes. She loved running errands to Hobby Lobby and Rural King. Nancy was always up for lunch at her favorite place, Taco Casita. She had a positive outlook on life and always reassured her friends and family with the words, “Everything will work out just fine.”

Visitation will be held from noon until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home. Nancy will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
