Nancy Ann Heady

Nancy Ann Heady, 89, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025 in her residence. She was born April 11, 1936 in Terre Haute to Claude William Foote, Sr. and Adeline Opal Budd Foote.

Survivors include her daughter, Jacquelyn Heady; nieces and nephews, Susan Murdock (Troy), Cindy Leasure (Max) Alice Ramey (Richard), Claude William “Bill” Foote III, Pamela Thompson (Darren), and Scott Tingley; several great nieces and nephews; and several great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Heady whom she married March 9, 1957; her parents; brother, Claude William Foote, Jr.; and sister Claudia Tingley.

Nancy retired from Union Hospital. She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church and the Nathaniel Foote Chapter of the National Society of Colonial Dames XVII Century. Nancy was a Brownie and Junior Girl Scout leader from 1968 – 1973 at Montrose School and enjoyed Genealogy. She was a 1954 graduate of Wiley High School.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 24, 2025 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor David Smith officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Friday. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Greenwood Baptist Church.
