Leslie Elizabeth Burdick, 68, of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St. Vincent Ascension in Indianapolis, surrounded by family. She was born on August 28, 1957, in Killeen, Texas, to Dr. Jerrold and Jeroldine (Full) Baker. She married Joseph Burdick on May 18, 1979.

Leslie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Joe Burdick; sons, Bryan Burdick (Sabrina) of Terre Haute, and Kyle Burdick (Kailee) of Terre Haute; brother, Matt Baker of Terre Haute; sister, Ellen Burdick (Jim) of Terre Haute; grandchildren: Bailey Truxal, Samuel Truxal, Oliver Burdick, Finlee Burdick, and John Burdick; a special cousin, Laura Nikiel; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Margaret Baker.

Leslie attended St. Patrick’s Elementary School and Schulte High School. She went to Indiana University and Indiana State University before embarking on her career at First Financial. Leslie loved working with people and enjoyed her interactions with the customers that she saw over the many years she worked as a customer service representative. She and Joe were faithful members of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Leslie enjoyed golfing in her younger days and watching golf as she got older. Spending time with family was Leslie’s favorite thing to do. She doted on her grandchildren and looked forward to spoiling them every chance she had. Leslie is a treasured wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed.

In accordance with Leslie’s wishes, cremation was chosen with a Mass and Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
