John Rotheker

John Rotheker, 80, of Terre Haute Indiana passed away peacefully in his home June 1, 2026. He was born March 8, 1946 in Munich, Germany to Felix Rotheker and Teresa Marquette Rotheker. John was a devoted husband, father and great grandfather. His life was defined by hard work, wisdom and commitment. John built a business legacy through his ownership of Vision Mart, optic view, storage units, rental properties and several other businesses. John was in the Army National Guard, loved to hunt, and got his pilot license in 2001. John‘s kind heart and wisdom will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife Nancy Barrett Rotheker; daughters, Teena Schimmel (Jack) and Johnda Pitts (Mike); granddaughter, Justine Johnston; great grandchildren, Felix Johnston and Kirklee Mullican; mother-in-law, Helen Barrett; stepchildren, Melissa Finkbiner (P.A), Kevin Fouts, and Jenny Ritchey; step grandchildren, Emily, Brock, Reese and Cruz; step great grandchildren, Fletcher, Fallon and Brooks. John is proceeded in death by his parents; his siblings, Michael, Marty, and Anna; and his grandson in law Chad Butts. Private services will be held.
