Jill Rushworth

Jill Diane Rushworth, 74, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully of natural causes on January 13, 2026.

Born on December 14, 1951, in Terre Haute, Indiana, Jill was the beloved daughter of the late David B. Rushworth and Fauneil Rushworth, and the devoted sister of Jana Spatz.

A talented and dedicated hairstylist throughout her life, Jill brought warmth, laughter, and confidence to countless clients who became dear friends. Her ability to make others feel welcome, combined with her joyful spirit, made her a cherished presence wherever she went. Jill was known for her generous heart and wonderful sense of humor—often the life of any gathering.

Beyond her professional life, Jill found deep fulfillment in her volunteer work with the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 34, generously offering her time and energy to a cause she deeply respected. She also found great joy and companionship in the animals she loved, especially her late mother’s beloved 20-year-old chihuahua, Tula, whom she cared for with tenderness and devotion.

Jill’s warmth, compassion, and love for family and friends will be long remembered by all who were blessed to know her. Her light, laughter, and kindness will live on in the many hearts she touched.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
