James Wesley Gillie, Sr. James Wesley Gillie, Sr., 72, of Terre Haute died Sunday, August 18, 2013 in his residence. He was born July 27, 1941 in Terre Haute to Lawrence W. Gillie and Frances Mullen Gillie. He was a truck driver for Gibson Trucking. Survivors include his sons, Gary Gillie, Jerry Gillie, Billy Gillie and Terry Gillie all of Terre Haute; daughters, Paula Hodge and her husband Jon of New Goshen, Pamela Gillie and Helen Deverick of Terre Haute; a sister, Laura Robinson of Terre Haute; step-son, Larry Leach; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James W. Gillie, Jr., a step-son, Bobby Vick; a brother, Larry Gillie; two grandchildren, Jamie Gillie and Natalie Goff. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in Highland Lawn Chapel with Pastor Larry Spear officiating. Burial is in Highland Lawn Cemetery. There is no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street.
