Jade Alexis Larson

Jade Alexis Rowe Larson, a beacon of light and creativity, left this world all too soon after a short illness. Born on May 22, 1985, in Terre Haute, Indiana, Jade was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, niece, and friend whose spirit touched everyone she met. Jade's life was a tapestry of love, family, football and passion for creativity. The daughter of Roger Rowe, and her mother, Jaymie Barrett Wood, instilled in her a sense of kindness and resilience. Jade carried these values with her throughout her life, graduating from Rockville High School in 2003, where she formed lifelong friendships and began sowing seeds of future endeavors. On February 13, 2009, Jade married the love of her life, Eric Larson. Together, they built a beautiful family, blessed with two extraordinary sons, Klayton and Mason Larson, who will continue to carry forth her legacy of love and warmth. Jade had an innate knack for seeing beauty where others might not. This gift led her to establish “Upcycle” and “Vintage and Gypsy Farmhouse,” two beloved antiques and furniture boutiques. Her work was not just about restoring objects, but about breathing new life into them, much as she did with every person she encountered. She was deeply involved in her community, notably with the South Vermillion Touchdown Club and as a dedicated member of the Football Mom's group, and the “Book Club”, where her support and enthusiasm were unwavering. Jade cherished being part of these organizations, finding joy in the camaraderie and the shared mission of nurturing young athletes. Her humor showed in her TikTok videos and spread that humor to everyone she touched. Jade was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jay and Nancy Barrett, and Violet June and Cody Rowe, as well as her cousin, Patrick Barrett. She is survived by her husband, Eric, her cherished sons, Klayton and Mason, and her loving parents, Roger Rowe and Jaymie Barrett Wood (Brent), along with her in-laws Chris Larson (Peggy) and Angie Eckstein (Mike), sister-in-law Kristen Simons (Zach) and brother-in-law Michael Larson (Savonnah), along with her many, many favorite aunts, uncles and cousins. Her family, both immediate and extended, will forever remember her laughter, her kindness, and her unyielding spirit. Jade Alexis Rowe Larson's life was a testament to the power of love, creativity, and community. Though she has left this earthly realm, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who were fortunate enough to know her.
