Jack L. Hale

Jack Lee Hale, 86, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Union Regional Hospital. He was born on July 20, 1940, in Terre Haute, to Charles Leroy and Lucille Keifner Hale.

Jack is survived by his brother, Richard Hale (Gloria) of Terre Haute; sister, Jane Ann Stephens (Bill) of Terre Haute; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jack was a 1958 graduate of Glenn High School. He proudly served in the United States Army and even was stationed overseas in Seoul, South Korea. Jack worked as an auto mechanic for several shops in Indianapolis and around the Wabash Valley. In his younger days, he loved to drag race. Jack enjoyed going golfing and playing pool. He looked forward to the monthly gatherings with his graduating class.

Per his wishes, cremation was chosen and a private celebration of life will be held.
