Georgia Bosworth

Georgia Bosworth passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, at the age of 80. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, family, adventure, faith, and service to others. Her warm heart, unwavering spirit, and infectious smile touched countless lives and left an enduring legacy that will forever be cherished.

Born on September 6, 1945, Georgia was the beloved daughter of Gene and Doreatha Thompson. Throughout her life, she exemplified kindness, resilience, determination, and generosity, bringing joy and encouragement to everyone she met.

In 1965, Georgia married Gilbert Bosworth II, and together they built a family and welcomed two sons, Gib Bosworth III and Greg Bosworth. Their marriage lasted until 1977, and although their paths later diverged, the family they created remained one of Georgia’s greatest sources of pride and joy throughout her life.

Professionally, Georgia built an extraordinary career marked by excellence, integrity, and determination. She earned numerous awards and professional recognition as a world-class real estate agent and television advertising sales leader, consistently exceeding sales goals and setting a standard of excellence. Her remarkable work ethic, ability to build lasting relationships, and unwavering commitment to serving others earned the admiration and respect of colleagues, clients, and friends throughout her career.

Georgia embraced life with enthusiasm and an adventurous spirit. She loved bowling, camping, golfing, roller skating, ice skating, cross-country skiing, boating, water skiing, horseback riding, motorcycle rides, white-water rafting, quail hunting, and dancing to the music of the 1950s and 1960s. She also devoted her time to coaching girls’ soccer and softball, encouraging young athletes with patience, compassion, and enthusiasm.

Earlier in her career, Georgia showcased her creativity by earning Third Place in a State Hair Styling Competition, reflecting her artistic talent and determination to excel.

Above all, Georgia’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, extended family, and friends. She loved celebrating birthdays, cherished the memory of receiving her favorite cowgirl outfit one Christmas as a little girl, faithfully cared for her beloved Labrador Retriever for more than twenty years, and had an infectious laugh that brightened every room. Her favorite colors—yellow, white, purple, and lavender—reflected the warmth and joy she shared with others.

Georgia is lovingly survived by her sons, Gib Bosworth III and Greg Bosworth; daughter-in-law, Sarah and Kimberly; her brother, Tom; her nieces, Terri and Nikki; grandchildren, Bailey, Parker, Jill, Colton, Christian, KC, Nathan, Andy, Angie, Doug; and her beloved dog Dolly.

Georgia will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family, her joyful spirit, her unwavering work ethic, and her ability to make everyone around her feel valued and loved. She inspired others through her strength, optimism, generosity, and perseverance. Her greatest legacy is the family she cherished, the friendships she nurtured, and the example she set of living each day with courage, kindness, grace, and gratitude.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know and love her.

“A life well lived leaves a legacy of love that never fades.”

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
