Eric S. Anshutz

Eric S. Anshutz, 43, of Morganton, NC, and formerly of Terre Haute, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 19, 2023. He was a Senior Controls Engineer for Baxter Healthcare in Marion, NC. Eric was born November 7, 1979, in Terre Haute to David Anshutz and Pamela Whaley Anshutz.

Survivors include his parents, David and Pam of Sarasota, FL; sister, Lauren of Austin, TX; aunt Sandra Anshutz of Terre Haute and cousin Vanessa Branstetter (Tyler) of Terre Haute. Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents Wade B. Anshutz Jr. and Mary Margaret Anshutz, Roy and Peg Whaley; his uncle Wade B. Anshutz III and aunt Patricia Whaley Landis.

Eric was a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School. He attended Indiana University and earned his bachelors’ degree at Indiana State University where he was a member and past president of IEEE.

A visitation is scheduled from 4:00-6:00 PM, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.  Private burial will be at the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery.  If friends should so desire, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of their choice.
