Cynthia Ann Pritchard Holler, 68, of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2025, at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice, with family by her side. She was born on November 15, 1956, in Greenfield to Glenn A. and Margaret Jane (Deakyne) Pritchard. She married Jess Holler on November 25, 1978.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Dr. Jess Holler of Terre Haute; sons: Eric Holler of Indianapolis, Blake Holler (Tasha) of Fishers, Austin Holler (Jennifer) of Chicago, and Chad Holler (Emily) of Indianapolis; grandchildren: Leighton Holler, Larkin Holler, Sloane Holler, Dylan Holler, and Baby Holler on the way; sister, Nancy Cummins (Tom) of Terre Haute; brothers, Dick Pritchard (Deb) of Carmel and Jim Pritchard (Paula) of Indianapolis; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Robert Buis.
Cindy graduated from IU with a bachelor’s degree in health education. She worked for many years as a respiratory therapist at Lincare and at Regional Hospital. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, League of Terre Haute, Kappa Alpha Theta at IU, and President of Tri Kappa Sorority. Her greatest accomplishment, however, was being a mother to four sons. She volunteered at any school activity and participated in PTO. Cindy proudly cheered her boys on at their sporting events and took great joy in cooking for them and their friends. Her joy only multiplied when she became a grandmother to four granddaughters and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of a fifth grandchild later this year.
Spring and Summer were Cindy’s favorite times of year. She loved being outdoors, whether it was gardening, sitting by the pool with a good book, or going to the beach. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for a crowd, even if it was just the two of them, her and Jess. She loved taking care of people and doing nice things for others, just because. Cindy was a radiant person whose memory will always be treasured.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the funeral home with Rev. Tim Voll officiating. Cindy will be laid to rest with a private graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Wabash Valley/VNA.
