Beth Ann Allen, 71, of Terre Haute, IN, went home to be with our Lord on April 7, 2026.

Born on July 15, 1954, in Lebanon, IN, she was the daughter of Gerard Joseph Ilg and Anita Dean Clark. Beth Ann Allen graduated from Brownsburg High School in 1972. She received both her bachelor’s degree (1975) and her master’s degree (1989) from Indiana State University. She went on to work as a clinical therapist for Family Services Association and Hamilton Center of Parke Co.

Beth was known for her passion for Christ. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized in April of 1967. She attended Maplewood Christian Church, Maryland Community Church, and Terre Haute First Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, signing in the choir, and attending Bible studies.

She is survived by two daughters, Libby Allen of Crawfordsville, IN and Abbe (John) Hendrix of Terre Haute, IN; two granddaughters, Hayleigh Anita and Emilee Frank Hendrix; her sister, Lisa Nordi of Brownsburg, IN; a nephew, Matthew (Lisa) Oldham; niece, Megan (Scott) Thomas; aunt, Barbara Clark; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerard Ilg and Anita Clark; her grandparents, Peter & Irma Ilg and Carlos & Grace Clark; uncles, Hershel Clark and Richard Clark; and her former husband, Robert (Bob) Frank Allen, with whom she shared 22 years of marriage. While no longer married, they remained united in raising their children with love.

A Celebration of Life will occur at a later date. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to IU Health University Hospital, Transplant Unit in honor of Beth Ann Allen and her 16 years of post-transplant life. IU Health Fdn
